: COOL · DRY · FAN operation

The air conditioner operates with the operation mode of your choice.
From the next time on, the air conditioner will operate with the same operation mode.

[COOL]
To lower the temperature in the room
[DRY]
To reduce the humidity in the room
[FAN]
This mode is valid for fan only

To start

Press and select an operation mode.
- Each pressing of the button changes the mode setting in sequence.
Press .
- “ ” appears on the LCD.
- The OPERATION lamp lights green.

NOTE

Note on COOL operation

This air conditioner cools the room by releasing the heat in the room outside. Therefore, the cooling performance of the air conditioner may be degraded if the outdoor temperature is high.

Notes on DRY operation

This operation eliminates humidity while maintaining the indoor temperature as much as possible. It automatically controls airflow rate, so manual adjustment of airflow rate is unavailable.
Dry (Dehumidifying) mode mixes dehumidified cool air with room air to adjust the air outlet temperature and remove moisture. When the outdoor temperature is lower than the indoor temperature, dehumidifying is less effective.

Note on FAN operation

This mode is valid for fan only.

To stop

: Press again.

“ ” disappears from the LCD.
The OPERATION lamp goes off.

To change the temperature setting

: Press .

Press to raise the temperature and press to lower the temperature. Each pressing of the button changes the temperature by 0.5°C.

COOL operation	16.0~32.0°C
DRY operation	“STD~(STD−3.0°C)” ^{1, 2}
FAN operation	The temperature setting cannot be changed.

To use Dry (Dehumidifying) mode

Dry (Dehumidifying) mode

When DRY mode is selected “STD” (Standard temperature) also appears in the temperature section.
You can lower the temperature from the STD in the rage of −0.5°C to −3°C.
Press to raise the temperature and press to lower the temperature by 0.5°C with each press.

NOTE

Notes on DRY operation

In order to lower the humidity, the airflow rate during DRY operation is automatically controlled.
When the indoor temperature rises, COOL operation automatically starts.
